Who/what are your teachers? Direct life experience, intensive trainings in breath work, Ayurveda, Vedic Thai Bodywork, indigenous ceremony and daily interactions with others. Liz Doyle, Tina Templeman, Michel Spruance, Judith Lasater, Jen Mitchell, David Elliott and Michael Buck (Mukti) have been my main teachers.
Hobbies/interests: trapeze, motor cycle riding, camping, my children and four dogs, international travel and retreat organizing
What non-yoga book are you reading/did you recently read? The Valkyries by Paul Coehlo, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, Breakfast with Buddha by Merullo, Dispelling Wetiko (a must read for all says “Sting”).
Yoga book you recommend: The Wisdom of Yoga by Stephen Cope, Chakra Mantras by Thomas Ashley-Farrand
Favorite yoga practice/pose and why: Slow Vinyasa with eyes closed for the internal awareness. Peacock pose for the expression and deaf man’s pose for stillness and serenity.
One secret that helps you stay healthy: yoga of course, a balanced diet, double short breve lattes and looking up to notice the beauty all around and being grateful.
Currently inspired by: Watching Cirque de Soleil’s Kurious for the creativity and grace.
Anything you want to share with our community? I’ve recently spent two years in the Sacred Valley of Peru and moved back to reignite my well-loved breathing circles and integrate back into my community with friends and family.
