The 8 Limbs Yoga Centers community of yoga teachers and practitioners is a creative and inspiring environment in which to explore the concepts of yoga instruction and support the unfolding of your own Sat Guru, or inner teacher. Our instructors are committed to personal and professional growth, and to sharing the transformative practice of yoga through their teaching. It is in the spirit of 8 Limbs Yoga Centers – a dedication to the study and sharing of the discipline of yoga – that we have created the 8 Limbs Teacher Training Program, licensed as a vocational school by the state of Washington Workforce Board (360.709.4600).
8 Limbs is committed to increasing diversity, accessibility and safety in the Pacific Northwest’s yoga community. This includes a committment to growing and nurturing a yoga teacher pool that is diverse in terms of culture, race, ethnicity, gender/sexual identification and sexual orientation. As one part of these commitments, 8 Limbs offers partial scholarships to applicants of color, people who identify as gay and/or transgender, and/or other under-represented groups. To apply for this scholarship please include a brief description of why you qualify with your application or enrollment.
8 Limbs does not discriminate against students or potential students on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, or the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability or the use of a trained guide dog or service animal by a person with a disability. Our Phinney Ridge and Wedgwood studios are on the first floor, 8 Limbs Capitol Hill is on the second floor with no elevator.
