It’s not a series or a workshop, it’s a drop-in weekly class that welcomes bodies of all shapes and sizes, of all levels of flexibility and fitness, to practice yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment.
But aren’t all of our classes at 8 Limbs “yoga for every body?” Yes, we are a collective group of teachers who honor meeting the student at their level of physicality and offer modifications for those with injuries and or physical limitations. I am proud of that in our teachers. We named this class Yoga for Every Body to help people who might say “well I would like to come to your classes but…(insert reason based on fear or judgement or comparison here).” Yoga for Every Body will show you you’re not too fat, too old, too out of shape, too stiff or inflexible, or too anything to do yoga. I will challenge you, no doubt, but in a loving supportive way. I will encourage you to release the story you have of “I can’t” or “if only this was different.” You are perfect exactly as you are and you are stronger than you can possibly imagine.
