**Are there any special requirements if I am a yoga teacher who wants to be certified in YFHA?
Yes, just a few:

      • You must attend at least 25-hours of the program LIVE, and for any hours you miss, you must watch those sessions from the recordings and create an outline of what you learned and turn that in within 2 weeks of the last day of the program.
      • Each teacher will teach a pose for about 5-minutes on the final day, as part of a sequence made up from the Essential Yoga poses in the book (your pose will be assigned). We will give you more info at the start of the program.
      • Successfully complete an open book take-home exam and return it to us by November 17, 2021
      • Send us confirmation of your 200-hour level teacher training (send with your completed exam)

What is the curriculum?
You will receive an outline of everything we will cover a few days before the Immersion starts. If you do not already have a copy of the book Yoga for Healthy Aging, order one now so you can have it during the immersion! Order from Baxter’s publisher or your favorite local bookstore! https://www.shambhala.com/authors/a-f/baxter-bell/yoga-for-healthy-aging-15028.html Melina’s sequencing book, Art of Sequencing – Volume Three, will also be used to cover additional variations of Essential Poses. www.melinameza.com

What if I cannot attend all the sessions live?
We will be recording each session and posting them for your later review. They will be available for 2 weeks after the end of the program ONLY.

What props will I need for the yoga practice parts of the program?
We recommend that you have the following:
Yoga mat
2 firm blankets
Yoga strapa
2 yoga blocks
A firm chair (like a folding metal chair)
A bolster or DIY bolster
