A Summer Yoga Retreat with Chiara Guerrieri

For many months, most of us have been sheltering in place, with minimal opportunity to connect to community of any kind, let alone a spiritual community. This week-long retreat is designed to offer you daily support in your yoga practice from an experienced instructor and your fellow practitioners. Come to enjoy the sweetness of spending inward time with yourself while also in community.
Yoga retreats have many powerful, meaningful qualities – the intimacy of being on the mat with your teacher’s voice, engaging topics and discussion, the relationships you build with kindred folks, and the experience of coming together in the fullness of a community that knits together your discoveries.
We will use the available technology to experience the unique joys a 5-day retreat can offer, from the comfort of our own homes!

During this retreat, you will experience a deeper dimension of yourself by peeling back the layers of stress and distraction that come with modern life and can be more pronounced during the pandemic. We will discuss several layers of sustainability – in the body, the spirit, relationship, geography & society. This is an invitation to carry the most useful elements of the retreat experience into your daily life. Our hope is that you will leave with a refreshed spiritual toolkit for mindful living, strengthened personal relationships, and a renewed openness to life’s treasures.

Approximate Daily Schedule
(8:30-9:00am – Optional Silent Sit)
9:00-9:30am – Check-in and introduction of daily theme
9:30-10:30am – Asana Practice
10:30-11:30am – Pranayama, Meditation Instruction and Practice
11:30am-12:30pm – Inquiry into daily theme (discussion, breakout groups and practice)
(2:00-3:00pm – Optional Asana Practices, Tues/Thurs only)

Tuition includes one-hour Zoom private session with Chiara, to be scheduled between August 22 and September 22, 2020.
PLEASE NOTE: To best support the unfolding of this retreat please have a Somat in addition to any yoga props you regularly use. You may substitute a yoga blanket for the Somat, or purchase one here (curbside pick-up available for Seattle-residents, email firstname.lastname@example.org).
Cancellation Policy: Refunds of 90% up to five days prior to workshop. No refunds allowable after that time.
