Find home in the body temple. Through deep kind listening you will receive the insight you need to take your rightful place in the world.

“Without inner change there can be no outer change.

Without collective change, no change matters.” ~ Reverend angel Kyodo williams

This restorative yoga class is designed for POC to pause, reset and nourish their bodies. Go within yourself and lay down the burdens and residue of injustice. Unplug from the external and internal devices that are always engaged in plotting, preparing and planning for the future or dwelling on the past. Lie down to open the inner eye and inner ear in the present moment to see and hear your true self. The rising up happens after you rest. When we rise up after consciously resting, we are able to see the world differently. We can take new perspectives and tap into collective wisdom. Rise up and see each other through the eyes of love.

This is a Restorative Yoga class for People of Color (POC). Restorative yoga is designed to restore your vital energy, rather than use it. In this extended practice, you will be guided into passive and slightly active poses with the support of props. No previous yoga experience is required. Dress in comfortable clothing with layers for warmth.

The studio is located on the 2nd floor, stairwell access.
