In this workshop we will explore the lunar and seasonal cycles and their relationship to the menstrual cycle. As we unpack these different cycles in our outer environment, we will then look at the cycle that takes place over the lifetime of a female bodied person from adolescence to fertility/pregnancy to peri-menopause/menopause. Using the wisdom of yoga we will explore ways our practice can both hinder us and help us at these various life stages and how bringing ourselves more in alignment with natural cycles will bring us deeper into the wisdom of the female body.

This workshop is for everyone on the journey of menstruation, whether you’ve just begun exploring the power of your menstrual cycle, you’re in the midst of understanding fertility and the perinatal body or are unlocking the wisdom that comes from the later stages of life in menopause and beyond. This workshop will be part asana part discussion so bring your yoga mats and notebooks to take notes.

About Megan – As a certified Pre/Postnatal Teacher and part of the 8 Limbs Pre/Postnatal teacher training faculty, Megan has immersed herself in female health. Weaving in her studies of Chinese medicine and astrology, she pulls strongly from these two traditions for wisdom around aligning the body with the natural rhythms of the moon and the seasons. Years of exploration in her own body and through study with other teachers, she brings the wisdom of yoga to the much needed realm of addressing female health and how to support the changing body both through menstruation and through the cycles of life.
