8 Limbs Yoga Centers has a decades-long relationship to Breitenbush Hotsprings in Detroit, Oregon. We’ve held retreats at its very special home in the old-growth Cascades of Oregon since 1999. More than a dozen of our Teacher Trainings were held in the supportive embrace of Breitenbush.

Just after reopening for the first time since Covid, the Beach Creek and Lionshead fires tore through the Breitenbush area, burning all of the guest cabins, the Sanctuary, Breitenbush river footbridge, and surrounding residences.

We hope to raise at least $5,000 for Breitenbush to show our deep gratitude and love for the place, and the people who make it possible. The full amount of funds raised will go directly to the fund Breitenbush has created.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

*CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

EDGU: evolutionary spinal maintenance is a mindful movement system that balances the brain while serving the spine to have greater flexible and strength. Through a series of gyrating movements in a grounded stance, the vertebra move through their range of motion increasing neurological flow and optimizing communication from brain to body and back. EDGU’s movements are linked to life affirming story telling that connects all the dots resulting in a “wholly” experience.

INU: evolutionary energy maintenance is a synthesis of dynamic movement, powerful breathing and authentic expression that result in a potent experience of this human life. Imbalance is at the root of all dis-ease and INU synchs up our breath, movement and mind to clear away stagnant energy and restore flow to all the systems in the body.
