8 Limbs is committed to being a supportive and welcoming place to learn and grow through the mind-body practices of yoga.
We root our commitment in the eight limbs of yoga, precepts for living that originated in South Asia and Northern Africa, and honor the lineage of teachers that have informed us as practitioners of yoga in the West. We pledge to practice all eight limbs of yoga within our business and ourselves. The eight limbs of yoga are yama (attitudes toward our environment), niyama (attitudes toward ourselves), asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practices), pratyahara (sensory restraint), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (complete integration). We aim to provide classes, workshops, and other events geared to supporting people of all backgrounds and levels.

Continuing students can choose from our schedule of over 40 Livestream classes (and when we reopen, over 140 drop-in classes a week!
Deepen your practice through Series (Meditation, Sutras, Pranayama, Chakras), Workshops, Seasonal Retreats, or explore our Teacher Training programs – 200HR/500HR/Pre/Postnatal. We offer daily Hatha & Flow/Vinyasa classes, Pre/Postnatal Yoga, Kids, Tween & Family Yoga, Yoga for 50+ and more at our 4 locations in the Capitol Hill, Phinney Ridge, Wedgwood, and West Seattle neighborhoods.
