It’s kind of hard to talk about gratitude this time of year without sounding a little trite, but here goes.
gratitude: readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
It always helps me to return to the definition of a word to find freshness, and it worked this time! I would like to like to show appreciation for the entire 8 Limbs community for the amazing alchemy you make when you come together in our studios. Thank you teachers for holding the space and carrying on this amazing practice in your own special way. Thank you admin staff for supporting the educational offerings and the service you provide to keep our business running smoothly. Thank youstudents/practitioners for your love of practice, for choosing 8 Limbs, and for making it all worth it. Don’t miss our “Give the Gift of Yoga” 20% discount on 5 class cards, our way of making it a little easier to treat yourself and loved ones on your holiday gift list, through December 20. Experiences make great presents!
To give back and return kindness to the world around us we’ve chosen four local non-profits to benefit with our annual Thanksgiving Benefit Classes.
Capitol Hill: with Sally Carley to benefit our neighbor Gay City
Phinney Ridge: with Chiara Guerrieri to benefit Solid Ground
Wedgwood: with Melissa Lundsgaard to benefit Ryther House
West Seattle: with Tracy Hodgeman to benefit Transitional Resources
Suggested donation: $20, cash or check to the non-profit. Give more, give less, give what you can.
