I volunteer once a week at the Bailey-Boushay House as a part of the Samarya Center’s Bedside Yoga Program. I also offer privates.

Hobbies/interests: I am continually fascinated by anatomy, physiology, and the body/mind connection. I am interested in preventative medicine and the empowerment that comes from taking charge of your health. For me this includes eating a healthy a diet, getting the right amount of exercise, rest, play, and continuing mental/spiritual pursuits. I think I am a good example of having a job doing what you love. I also enjoy being creative, whether through writing, arts & crafts, music, dance, gardening, creating custom yoga classes on the spot…

One secret that helps you to stay healthy is: Relaxing my forehead.

Currently inspired by: Sally Kempton (author who writes eloquently about yoga/buddhist philosophy, meditation), Jill Miller (creator of Yoga Tune Up, yoga therapy), Hafiz (Sufi poetry), Mary Oliver (whose poems are often like taking a long walk on the beach), spring flowers, Rod Stryker (especially his work around Yoga Nidra and Sankalpa), Richard Miller (Yoga Nidra).
