What to expect in Lauren’s classes: Lauren is known for her precise and insightful instruction style, as well as her innate ability to immediately put you at ease in a fun and affirming way. She weaves deep understanding of biomechanics (how bodies can move well) with a grounded yet intuitive awareness of the breath to create a richly felt experience for all levels of practitioners.
In Lauren’s weekly classes at the Capitol Hill and Phinney Ridge 8 Limbs locations, you will be treated to mindful and skillful sequencing that offers you challenge as well as meets you on any given day with modification tools to tailor and empower your practice. Drawing from training in ashtanga vinyasa, yin and Iyengar traditions as well as an early career as a gymnast and coach, Lauren’s classes are diverse, deeply intentional explorations designed to strengthen, steady and enrich both body and mind.
