What to expect in Kathleen’s classes: Kathleen strives to show how yoga is accessible to everyone and she incorporates elements of pranyama in all of her classes, as well as concentration and meditation techniques. Kathleen focuses on the breath as a gateway to the body and a key component of a grounded yoga practice. She considers everyone to be both a student and a teacher and loves the process of spiritual unfolding that occurs through the practice and teaching of yoga. Her classes are fun, supportive, and welcoming for students of all levels. She is a certified Integrated Movement Therapist (IMT), which is a form of yoga therapy developed at The Samarya Center. She is currently enrolled in the 8 Limbs Yoga Centers 500-hour teacher training program.
