Adi Turner

Practicing Since: 1997 // Teaching Since: 2003

What to expect in Adi’s Classes:  Adi teaches a mindful, slow flow; alignment is taught through a specific sequence in each class. His classes have been described as “incremental”. Each movement builds on the previous one so that when we reach the peak poses in the middle of the class, it feels attainable as well as sustainable. Aside from the flexibility, strengthening, and health elements to his classes, his main focus is on the mindfulness of yoga – developing focus and willpower as a bridge into expanded awareness.

Main Influences/Styles/Traditions:  The meditation and movement work of PachaMama eco-village in Costa Rica, Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea, Zen Buddhism, Usui Reiki.
