Teaching Yoga Since: 2000
Where do you teach? Wedgwood and Phinney Ridge
Who/what are your teachers? I love the variety of so many yoga teachers and styles. Right now my 1 and 3 year old are my best teachers.
Hobbies/interests: Snowboarding and surfing. Crossfit. I have been really enjoying cooking these days and experimenting in the kitchen.
What non-yoga book are you reading/did you recently read? Magazines. That is all the time I have to read beyond Yoga and parenting books. Does People magazine count?
Yoga book you recommend: Standard Classics- Gita and Autobiography of a yogi. I love Meditations from the Mat by Rolf Gates. Simple daily readings that inspire.
Favorite yoga practice/pose and why: Triangle. It forces us to see things in many angles. There is constant adjusting in the body every time I come into this pose. It is never the same and always has something new to offer for me. So symbolic to life.
One secret that helps you stay healthy: Apple Cider vinegar shot in a glass of water first thing in the morning. Daily tongue scrapping. Moving my body in some form every day.
Currently inspired by: Alan Watts
Anything you want to share with our community? Would love to see you on the mat soon.
Favorite recipe? Quinoa Pumpkin breakfast cookies. SO good and healthy you can eat for breakfast. A pintrest special.
