Meditation is a widely utilized contemplative practice that supports our mental, physical and emotional bodies. It has the power to influence every aspect of our life and provides us with techniques to help deal with inevitable challenges. Mentally we gain concentration and mindfulness. Physically, meditation reduces stress, a major component of disease. Emotionally, we learn how to be with the ebbs and flows that are a guaranteed part of our existence by learning to rest our mind in a place of comfort and ease. Meditation’s continued success is due to its universal appeal to people of any culture or spirituality. It is accessible to anyone living in a body, with a thinking mind.

These drop-in classes provide an opportunity to meditate in community with some instruction. Open to all levels of mediation experience. Our Intro to Meditation Series provide more extensive teaching for those interested in receiving a foundation in this powerful practice

Meditation (by donation) classes are FREE and do not impact your membership or class cards. If you do make a donation, please make it directly to your teacher, in either cash or check form.

Yoga Nidra is a systematic process of deepening relaxation, an internal, meditative yoga that happens while your body is completely still. It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is more restful than four hours of normal sleep! When we remove stressors, the body relaxes and the immune system functions more efficiently. Vitality and vibrant health are restored. We have more energy to do the things we want to do!
