Yoga supports us in awakening to our true selves, to offer clarity of purpose, and to support us in achieving and maintaining physical, mental and spiritual strength. This workshop will provide students in “The Forest Dweller Years” – the 3rd Ashram of life in yogic teachings – with help in shifting to this kinder, gentler time of life, and the challenges that sometimes come along with the aging process.
Expect some community discussion and lecture about ways in which the yogic teachings can support us in issues of aging, plus gentle asana, meditation and pranayama practices, along with writing prompts for deeper contemplation.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, from those new to yoga, to the experienced practitioner. Please bring a mat and, if you like, a journal and writing instrument.
