Using Yoga to Regulate Stress, Anxiety and Feelings of Overwhelm
Life as a tween or teen can be challenging; school, family, friends, our own expectations for the future. In this 2-hour workshop, participants will learn how the body responds to feelings of stress or anxiety and explore tools for managing those feelings.
Using tools from the world of yoga, and a practice called Somatic Experiencing, we will delve into the workings of the nervous system, and cultivate tools for regulating it so that we can find our way from stress to calm and balance, unblocking “stuck” areas that prevent us from living and being in our fullest expression.
Together we will explore ancient techniques and modern practices and discover how to be self-empowered.
