According to ancient Indian teachings as far back as the Upanisads, our bodies contain rivers of energy, called nadis in Sanskrit, that intersect in thousands of chakras, the Sanskrit word for wheel.

The seven main chakras run from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The chakra system provides a map with which to navigate the life experience that lives in our bodies. Through practice and self-inquiry, these experiential workshops will move through the seven main chakras with a focus on strengthening foundation, creativity, and power-with, compassion, expression, and self-knowledge.

Please have at least one year of regular yoga practice and a desire to know more about yourself. Wear clothing comfortable for doing postures and for sitting on the floor (chairs will also be available) and bring a journal or notebook and writing utensil to class.

“I couldn’t believe how immediately what she was saying resonated. I felt an immediate understanding of each chakra as she described it.”
