8 Limbs Yoga Centers has been offering outstanding quality yoga programs for Seattle communities since 1996. Our teaching staff includes some of the most highly trained and experienced teachers from the Northwest including Melina Meza, Anne Phyfe Palmer, Chiara Guierreri and Jenny Hayo. In our teacher training courses we offer serious yoga practitioners and yoga instructors the learning circle that will support them in the prompt advancement of their practice and ability to share it with others.

Our goal is to broaden the field of practice for each participant while encouraging yoga practice as a means to discover and fulfill one’s dharma, or purpose. A residential retreat, with healthy food, old-growth forest, thermal baths, sauna, and the nurturing qualities of Breitenbush, offers an ideal environment to enhance your growth as a wholesome yogi/yogini. This training may be taken as PART TWO of the 8 Limbs 200-hour Modular Teacher Training or as a personal retreat. Teacher Training participants will have advance reading and presentations during the retreat that are optional for other participants.

This 7-day training will offer a spectrum of subjects:

* Advanced Art of Teaching: Sequencing & Asana

* Anatomy Workshops

* In-depth Study of Yoga Philosophy

* Student Observation & Diagnosis

* Yin Yoga

* Supportive Adjustments

* The Science of Ayurveda

* Meditation

Our aspiration is that you will blossom into an elegant teacher that will continue to inspire others to the yogic principals of peace, compassion and oneness.

Cost: The following prices include lodging, all yoga instruction, meals, and use of facilities at Breitenbush. Cabins are geothermally heated, rustic, but very cozy. Options are for Double or Triple Occupancy, depends on availability, no requests other than roommate preference.

Total cost: Approximately $1506 to $1792 (exact rates to be posted by November 1, 2017), split into a lodging payment and a tuition payment. Payment for lodging is required to reserve your spot (approximately $616-742) and will depend on your choice of cabin with or without plumbing. Remaining balance (tuition) is due upon arrival ($890 if you register by 2/10/18, $1050 if you register after 2/10/18).

Transportation: Breitenbush is a 5-hour drive from Seattle, one hour east of Salem, OR.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds minus $150 up until 5 weeks before the retreat begins. No refunds for canceling within five weeks of the retreat.
