Is your inner critic bossing you around? Did you know that your nervous system responds to harsh inner dialogue in the same way that it does to life threatening dangers? Join Tracy and Ashley as they offer concrete steps for shifting into a more compassionate conversation with yourself and freeing your nervous system from your inner bully.
The intention of this daylong retreat is to give participants direct experience of kindness, and demonstrate how kindness towards self improves health and wellbeing as well as greater access to innate and compassionate wisdom. It will include two full, gentle asana practices interwoven with meditation, introspection, Nidra (done in a reclining position), and kindness practices.
Please bring a journal, a pen, and any props you might need to be comfortable. Tea and light afternoon snacks will be provided. All levels.
