I am a Yoga lover, plain and simple. We’ve been together for a long time. We’ve been through thick and thin. We’re meant for each other. And I know I’m not alone – many of you feel a strong appreciation and love for the practice of yoga. It enriches our lives while keeping us healthy and calm.

At 8 Limbs it is our mission to is to create a supportive, inclusive, and non-competitive atmosphere in which yoga practitioners can learn and grow. One of the ways that we do this is through our programming. February 1st was the first day of our 28-Day Commitment, a concept that came from our desire to share the benefits of daily practice and help inspire people to start or continue that commitment. Read Executive Director Ashley Dahl’s blog about this February event and join 100+ 8 Limbs teacher and students in a commitment to daily practice.

February 1st was also the first day of a brand new schedule. We’ve added classes, made little tweaks, and want you to know what’s coming. The changes are highlighted in another 8 Limbs blog: Spring Schedule and are now live on our online schedule.

Lastly, our February Many Paths Teacher Panel on Pratyahara, the fifth limb of yoga, has been rescheduled to Monday, February 3 at 7:15pm at 8 Limbs Capitol Hill. Join me as I moderate what will be a rich discussion with teachers Amy Reed, Douglas Ridings and Lance Westendarp. Free!
